Terms of Use

A clear guide to using RiserGold's website, valuation tools and gold-selling services.

Last updated: 19 August 2026

Section 01

Scope and Acceptance

These Terms of Use govern your access to the RiserGold website and its calculators, rate information, enquiry forms, appointment facilities, gold valuation services and related digital features.

By accessing or using the website, requesting a valuation, booking an appointment or submitting information, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website and its services.

Online information, estimates and enquiry responses are preliminary only. A binding gold purchase arises only after physical verification, your acceptance of the final offer and completion of the required payment and transaction documentation.

Section 02

Eligibility, Ownership and Verification

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law and must own, or be lawfully authorised to sell, every item presented to RiserGold.

  • Provide accurate, current and complete identity, ownership, address, tax and payment information when reasonably requested.
  • Do not present items that are stolen, pledged, disputed, subject to a lien or otherwise unavailable for lawful sale.
  • RiserGold may decline, pause or report a transaction where identity, authority, ownership or lawful origin cannot be verified.
Section 03

Gold Valuation, Rates and Testing

Calculator results, displayed gold rates and preliminary quotations are indicative estimates. Rates may change with market conditions, currency movements or third-party data updates and are not guaranteed purchase prices.

The final valuation is determined after physical inspection and may reflect actual purity, net gold weight, testing results, stones, solder or other non-gold components, applicable deductions, taxes and the prevailing transaction rate.

  • Hallmarks and HUID details may support verification but do not replace physical assessment where testing is reasonably required.
  • The gross weight of a jewellery item may differ from its recoverable gold weight.
  • The final valuation communicated during the transaction will govern over any earlier online or verbal estimate.
Section 04

Appointments and Doorstep Services

An appointment request is not confirmed until RiserGold sends confirmation through an official channel. Doorstep service availability depends on location, coverage, operating hours, staff availability, safety and other operational conditions.

  • Provide accurate contact and location details and ensure an authorised person is present for the appointment.
  • RiserGold may reschedule or cancel an appointment for safety, verification, technical or legitimate operational reasons.
  • Only gold owned by you or lawfully authorised for sale may be presented at an appointment.
Section 05

Final Offer, Charges and Sale

After valuation and verification, RiserGold may make a final offer showing any relevant deductions or adjustments. You may accept or decline that offer before completing the sale.

A transaction is complete only when verification is finished, you accept the final terms, RiserGold accepts the gold and the required payment and documentation process is completed. Once ownership has transferred, cancellation or reversal may not be possible except where applicable law or transaction documents provide otherwise.

Market value is not automatically the amount payable for a jewellery item; the final amount is based on recoverable gold content and the confirmed transaction terms.

Section 06

Payments and Transaction Records

Payment for accepted gold will be made using the method confirmed during the transaction, which may require a verified bank account. You are responsible for providing accurate beneficiary and payment details.

RiserGold may retain enquiry, valuation, testing, offer, confirmation, payment, invoice, receipt and communication records for operational, accounting, legal, fraud-prevention, audit and dispute-resolution purposes.

  • Bank, payment-network or account delays outside RiserGold's reasonable control may affect settlement timing.
  • Keep copies of your valuation, transaction, invoice, receipt and payment-confirmation documents.
Section 07

Responsible Use and Intellectual Property

Use the website honestly, lawfully and only for legitimate personal purposes. RiserGold owns or licenses its name, branding, design, text, graphics, calculators, software and other website materials.

  • Do not submit false information, impersonate another person, manipulate valuation tools or use the service for fraud or unlawful activity.
  • Do not disrupt the website, bypass security, introduce malicious code, scrape protected content or attempt unauthorised system access.
  • Do not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit RiserGold content or branding without written permission.
Section 08

Privacy, Communications and Third Parties

RiserGold may process contact, identity, appointment, transaction and payment-related information to provide services, verify transactions, prevent fraud, keep records and comply with law. Our Privacy Policy explains how this information is collected, used, protected and retained.

The website may rely on independent providers for market data, payments, maps, analytics, hosting or communications. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and RiserGold does not control their content, security or availability.

When you make an enquiry or request a service, RiserGold may contact you by telephone, SMS, email, WhatsApp or another channel you provide for purposes connected with that enquiry or transaction.

Section 09

Availability, Disclaimers and Liability

The website and its informational features are provided on an “as available” basis. Content, rates, estimates, service areas and appointment availability may change, and RiserGold does not promise uninterrupted, error-free or completely current service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RiserGold is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential or purely economic loss caused by reliance on preliminary information, service interruption, third-party failure, incorrect information supplied by you or events outside its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law.

Section 10

Changes, Complaints and Governing Law

RiserGold may update these Terms when its services, technology, processes or legal obligations change. The revised version and “Last updated” date will be published here. Transaction-specific documents continue to govern the transaction they relate to where applicable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a concern about a valuation, appointment, payment or service, contact RiserGold with your name, contact details, relevant reference and a clear description of the issue so it can be reviewed fairly.
